Picture Book Rationale
For this assignment, we were to choose an important topic that isn't discussed in classrooms. The issues could include bullying, mental health, racism, etc. We were to choose three picture books that highlighted the chosen issue and explain why it is an important issue to be discussed in Ontario classrooms. For me I have always struggled with anxiety and was always overlooked as the shy child, in being overlooked by my educators my anxiety stopped me from being the student I wanted to be. Therefore for this assignment I chose to highlight the importance of anxiety in young children and its importance in our classrooms. Check out my rationale below!
Picture Book Lesson plans

PBTE Assignment
For this assignment, we were to teach our colleagues about a variety of topics involving the language curriculum and assessment processes.
