In this course, we are learning how to use the social studies curriculum to teach students about their connection to our world, land, and environment. 

Personal Connections 

For this assignment, we were to look at our own ancestors and compose a photo essay of five items we connected to our ancestry. Afterward we described how completing this photo essay assignment helped us understand the importance of incorporating students heritage into our teaching of social studies.
